Interview with Bill Champlin
Bill Champlin: I got Steve Lukather to play a little bit on my new record.
Rick & Eddy: Oh yeah, that's right?
Bill Champlin: Luke is a bad boy, hahaha.
Rick & Eddy: You laid down some tracks for him in return on HIS new album, right?
Bill Champlin: Yeah, I added some background vocals to his album and Luke got a couple of solos on my record. It's just ridiculous, you know. He's through the roof. Keep an eye open for that, it's awesome!
Rick & Eddy: I gotta sit in with him last year for a couple of days in the studio, watching him lay down some tracks and pick out guitars and I was the happiest fly on any wall.
Bill Champlin: He's an amazing musician, a really good singer and a really good writer. He's not just a fast gun. He is so much deeper. There are so many things he did and it's so great. Any time when Luke is near in a project, it's happening.
